Bridgett Luther, Former Conservation Director For The State Of California And Former Head Of The World’s Largest Recycling Program, Has Joined Continuus Materials As Their New Sustainability Director

Bridgett Luther, former Conservation Director for the state of California and former head of the world’s largest recycling program, has joined Continuus Materials as their new Sustainability Director.

“At Continuus Materials we are totally committed to sustainability and circularity. By bringing Bridgett on board we are assured that these will  be integrated across our business. We are excited to have Bridgett and her experience as part of our team,” Chris Riley, CEO, Continuus Materials.

“Continuus is the only company in the country which turns waste plastic and waste fiber into high-quality building materials,” said Ms. Luther.  Everyone talks about the need to get rid of plastics like water bottles, but Continuus is doing more than identifying problems.  It’s creating solutions like turning plastic waste into EVERBOARD™ roofing material, a high-quality product which can be used in roofing on commercial buildings.  It is the kind of effective, creative action we need to deal with the plastic waste problem.  I’m honored to the be part of the Continuus team.”

Ms. Luther headed the California Department of Conservation from 2005 to 2010 under Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Later, she was a founder and the first president of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute that brought the Cradle to Cradle certification program to the public.
